Terms of service

By employing the services of PCSolve, you agree to the following terms.

1. Payment.

Payment is due in full at the end of the visit, unless agreed by the engineer.

Payment for remote work is paid in full before work commences.

2. Limited Liability.

PCSolve will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of property, software or data, whilst being repaired, transported or in the possession of PCSolve.

It is your responsibility to backup your data.

PCSolve can backup your data if required.

Any lost data may be recovered but will incur an additional charge.

PCSolve reserves the right to remedy any unsatisfactory work and shall be the option of PCSolve to refund up to the full amount paid by the customer, excluding the cost of any parts fitted.

3. Property

The customer is the legal owner of the property, software and data and accepts all legal consequences that may arise from data on the computer.

Any item left unclaimed for 90 days will become the property of PCSolve.

4. Confidentiality

Whilst diagnosing or fixing issues, it may be necessary to access your private or confidential data. PCSolve will not disclose any information unless required by law.

5. Data

Any data recovered or backed up from customer equipment will be kept for an agreed period of time before being deleted.

6. Warranty

• 7 day warranty on services.

• 6 month warranty on 2nd user systems.

• 1 year warranty on new components.

• 2 year warranty on new laptop, desktop and full systems.

Re-infections by virus or spyware will not be warranted and will be charged at the standard rate to repair.

System warranty covers collect, repair and return service, within 20 miles of PCSolve base address.

Any problems due to user damage or misuse will not be covered and will be chargeable.

7. No fix, no fee policy

If PCSolve does not possess technical ability to resolve the problem, then no charge is made. If PCSolve is not able to resolve the problem, due to customer request then the full service price will be due.

No fix, no fee does not cover data recovery, virus or spyware problems.
